Conrad Gallagher's little piece of heaven!

Wow - what an early bird delight I had tonight. Just sampled the "hot and tasty" nibbles at Salon des Saveurs on Angier street. One of the best value Dublin early bird experiences.

Oh and yes it is hot ....... Bruno the French maitre D was just so welcoming. HOT score : 8/10

My HOT score is really how good the staff make you feel. You got to feel like royalty , a super star , an old friend..... It's just so important to any restaurant experience. How many times do you get half a smile or a blank look when you go into restaurants.... It can be enough to cause indigestion...... The HOT score is critical to an "Exceptional" restaurant experience.

It's a rainy Tuesday night in Dublin and when we walked in the door there was Bruno with a big smile and showed us to our table. A fresh cut rose on each table and the bright red chairs just richened and brighteded up our evening.

Decor : Super snazzy 9/10

Pre-theatre menu was €23.95 for 3 courses before 6.30pm. a€6.50 for the wine. Value 4 money 8/10

Starter : Goats cheese - Fantastic presentation - Very tasty..... 8/10

Main course : Crispy salmon on bed of amazing mash potato- Small portion but just perfect for a light and tasty mid week meal - Super yummy .... 9/10

Dessert : Lemon tart - Luved the carmelised top so it was a tart with a crunch - Super yummy 9/10.

Drinks : Vino was excellent - Fruity and French - Good size glass - 8/10

Service was excellent - Attentive, chatty , humour... sat down and had a chat with us - HOT 8/10

Rest rooms - A little small and nothing glam - Not feeling like a super star leaving the rest rooms- Though was clean and bright - Satisfactory 7/10

Music - Little bit of jazz and was very calming - Luvin the vibe 8/10

Total : 84%

YES Conrad's joint was HOT - Luving it - We will be back to see Bruno.... defo recommend for a midweek treat.
